Blocksmith Minecraft Tool for builders and modded players

Blocksmith Minecraft Tool helps Minecraft players plan and update creative projects from one clean dashboard. Use the Minecraft armor trim viewer to compare armor types, trim patterns, trim materials, and custom player skins. Design banners with layered colors and patterns, generate Minecraft block palettes for builds, check Modrinth mod updater results for new game versions, and look up resource pack updater availability for your target Minecraft release.

Minecraft Armor Trim Viewer

Blocksmith Minecraft Tool includes a Minecraft armor trim viewer for previewing armor trims before you craft or apply them in-game. Choose trim patterns, trim materials, and armor types to compare different smithing table combinations. The 3D viewer shows the selected armor on a rotatable player model so you can inspect the look from different angles. Per-piece customization lets you give the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots their own armor material, trim pattern, and trim color.

Minecraft Banner Designer

The Minecraft banner designer helps you create banner ideas with a base color, dye colors, and layered banner patterns. You can preview the design before adding layers, reorder patterns, and copy the recipe list for recreating the banner in Minecraft. Blocksmith keeps the banner workflow readable for survival bases, servers, faction flags, castle banners, and decorative build details.

Minecraft Mod Updater

The Minecraft mod updater is a Modrinth tool for checking local mod filenames against a target Minecraft version. Blocksmith reads filenames in your browser, finds matching Modrinth projects, and reports compatible downloads, missing dependencies, possible duplicates, and mods that are not updated yet. It is built for quick modpack maintenance without uploading your jar files anywhere.

Minecraft Armor Trim Viewer

Use the Blocksmith Minecraft armor trim viewer to test armor trim combinations before you spend diamonds, templates, or upgrade materials in-game. Preview helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots with separate armor types, trim patterns, and trim materials. The 2D and 3D previews make it easier to compare smithing table designs for survival builds, servers, and custom skins.

Minecraft Banner Designer

The Minecraft banner designer helps you build banner patterns with a base color, dye colors, and layered vanilla-style designs. Add patterns in recipe order, preview the finished banner, and copy the layer list for recreating it in Minecraft. It is useful for faction banners, castle flags, map markers, and decorative build details.

Minecraft Block Palette Generator

The Minecraft block palette generator helps builders choose blocks that work well together by color, texture, biome, and build style. Search Minecraft blocks, create your own palette, or start from curated palettes for castles, cottages, Nether bases, ocean monuments, modern houses, and more. Export your block palette as an image or text list to keep your building reference handy.

Minecraft Mod Updater (Modrinth Tool)

The Minecraft mod updater checks your local mod jar filenames against Modrinth to find releases for a target Minecraft version. Blocksmith can flag outdated mods, missing required dependencies, possible duplicate files, and mods that are not updated yet. Files stay local in your browser; the tool reads filenames only and uses Modrinth project data for compatibility results.

Minecraft Resource Pack Updater

The Minecraft resource pack updater searches Modrinth resource pack projects for versions that match your target Minecraft release. Upload zip or jar filenames locally, review compatible pack updates, and bundle available downloads when Modrinth provides matching files. It is designed for texture packs, visual packs, and resource pack collections that need a quick compatibility check.

Minecraft Armor Trim Viewer

Blocksmith Minecraft Tool gives you a crawlable Minecraft armor trim viewer for previewing armor trim patterns and materials before you use them in-game. Choose armor types, trim patterns, and trim materials for each armor piece, then compare how the full set looks together. The 3D viewer shows the selected trim on a Minecraft-style player model with zoom, rotation, and reset controls. Per-piece customization lets your helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots each use different armor and trim combinations.

How Minecraft armor trims work

Minecraft armor trims combine a smithing template pattern with a trim material such as quartz, emerald, diamond, redstone, gold, or netherite. Blocksmith lets you preview those choices before using templates and materials in survival.

How to use the armor trim viewer

Pick an armor type, trim pattern, and trim material for each armor piece, or use Randomize set for a fast clean combination. Switch between 2D and 3D, rotate the model, then export the preview or copy commands for the selected armor set.

Minecraft Block Palette Generator

The Blocksmith Minecraft block palette generator helps builders plan color and texture combinations for survival builds, creative projects, and server designs. Search Minecraft blocks, add them to a custom palette, or open curated palettes for castles, cottages, Nether builds, modern houses, lush caves, and more. You can export a palette as a PNG, copy it as a text list, or save it locally in your browser for later building sessions.

How to build better Minecraft block palettes

Strong Minecraft block palettes usually mix a main block, a darker support block, a lighter highlight, and one or two detail blocks. Use the random palette and “goes well with this” suggestions to find combinations that keep builds readable without becoming noisy.

Modrinth lookup

Modpack Scanner

Upload local mod jars to find updates, unsupported mods, missing dependencies, and possible duplicates.

Drop mod .jar files here

Files are only read locally by filename; nothing is uploaded.

Results come from Modrinth and may depend on project authors publishing target-version files.

Minecraft Mod Updater (Modrinth Tool)

Blocksmith Minecraft Tool includes a Minecraft mod updater that checks local mod jar filenames against Modrinth for a target Minecraft version. The modpack scanner can detect compatible updates, mods that are not updated yet, missing required dependencies, and possible duplicate files. Your mod files are not uploaded anywhere; Blocksmith reads filenames locally in the browser and uses Modrinth API data to build the scan results.

How to update Minecraft mods with Modrinth

Upload your mod jar filenames, choose a target Minecraft version and loader, then scan for Modrinth releases that match that version. Blocksmith highlights required fixes, optional updates, missing dependencies, and duplicate files so modpack maintenance is easier to review.

Modrinth lookup

Resource Pack Updater

Upload resource pack files and check target-version availability from filenames.

Drop resource pack .zip or .jar files here

Files are only read locally by filename; nothing is uploaded.

Resource pack searches are restricted to Modrinth resource pack projects.

Minecraft Resource Pack Updater

The Minecraft resource pack updater checks local zip or jar filenames against Modrinth resource pack projects. Use it to find resource pack versions that support your target Minecraft release and to bundle compatible downloads when available. Like the mod updater, this tool keeps files local and only reads filenames in your browser.
